Plexi effect output?

i'm wanting to add a plexiglass on the front of my box and was wondering if any people who have tested heard any loss in output?

and also what size thickness would you use?

you need at least 3/4 inch plexi. preferably 3/4 inch lexan.

ya it doesn't flex as much.. by putting it on the front.. do you mean using it as one of the walls.. or putting it infront of the sub woofers?

i'm sure it would work. cutting the holes for subs would ****.

edit: misunderstood. you mean like a bandpass box. that's a whole different world.

nah just a small portion showing inside the box.

lexan is quite expensive though.
