10w7 would probably make the tube explode

you can have a box custom made at your local audio shop to meet your needs and work out how you want it, and at the same time since its made for the sub you will hear your sub the way it should sound

if you spend the $$$ on a w7, you gotta spend the money the the box or buying that sub will be 100% pointless cause a great sub can sound like complete shit in the wrong box

The tube may crack from the weight of a W7 not to mention the thing prolly wont have enough air space and thetuning will be off a whole list of things. But if you wanna try be my guest lol. Most of us have better use of time liek chasing women .

Well guys you wont have to worry the W7 will not fit in the tube. Stayed up till 200 AM building the ported box JL has in the owners manual.

the only thing i dont understand is that why would you want to spend money on such high dollar subs and amps, but use a cheap premade enclosure. the only way i can see using a JL sub in a bazooka tube is if you are on an inexpensive budget and use the bottom of the line W0's, which some people have and it works awesome. i belive the internal volume of the tube is around 1.3 cubic feet for the 10" tube and tuned to around 35hz.

Ok I now have my W710 and my 500/1 hooked up. The W7 is in an enclosure like the owners manual states that I should use. This is by far the best sounding system I have ever heard. It’s louder now then when I had 2 12" kickers in my mustang and I thought that was load! The bass just sound so much better. I want to thank everyone that helped me out with the input. Now I just have to work on the big three. I hate the dimming lights!!
