I just bought a used set of JL XR crossovers to replace a set of blown cdt satnet 400 crossovers.

I read that the XR comps are rated 75 watts rms. My question is, will these crossovers be ok with my cdt ef-61cf's comps powered by an Infinity 7541a (111 watts x 4 rms) amp?

yeah.. just turn down your gains a bit.... i think that infinity is probably not a true 111 watts.. they never are.. probably over rated.... anything over 60 watts a channel is too loud for constant listening unless you are deaf or want everyone in your neighborhood to know what stuff to steal out of your car later in the night //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

When i had the jl xr's mine would always cut the tweeters out at just above mid volume. I was using a us amps 400x (100x2) at the time with the gains set correctly. It wont hurt to try them though it may not happen to you.
