JL W3V3 Sub? Or something else?

I'm looking into One sub, and I have my eye on the new JL W3V3... I'm only going for a crisp and clear sounding system with some power, but I'm not looking to shake t-tops off my car either.

On that note, I drive a 300zx so it isn't a really big car... should I get a 12" sub or will 10" suffice?

JL W3V3 recommendable or is there something else just as good and can save me money (tight budget)? Thanks!

Good choice, those are some nice sounding speakers.

If you have the space go for the 12W3V3.

i just finished up putting together my first system less than a month ago... one 12W3V3 sealed with a Hifonics amp

specs on my amp is 325x1 @ 4ohms, but knowning Hifonic's rep its probably a little less than that... but it hits decently hard and sounds great for what it is

ive gotten complements by my neighbor that has 2 10w3v2's while i was driving by and he told me it sounds like it hits pretty hard from outside

got mine for $155shipped with 1yr warrenty to my door through an online store

im not saying this just because i have T1s but i was at this one shop and this guy FRIED his W3V3 and he wa giving it its rated power and he wanted to either replace it or get a new sub and i recommended a T1. so they swapped the sub and it sounded REAL good inside his van. he said the T1 hit much harder and was more clear than the W3 he was using. we sat in the parking lot and played a few songs and blasted them and he said he couldnt get that loud and not distort when he played the W3

i would suggest a Rockford T1 over a W3....even being under powered the T1 sounds great.
