This weekend I removed my sinlge JL W312 sealed enclosure from my Yukon to make more room in the cargo area. When i put it back in and turned on the system the sub cutt out. I immediatly turned the system off and checked all my amps, connections and grounds only to discover i accidently hooked up the positive to the negative and the negative to the positve. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif So i corrected the connection.
Now the sub will not come on. if i disconnect the wire and plug it back in it will push for about 30 seconds and turn off. After i tried this several times, i decided to open up the "sealed" enclosure and to my dismay.....smoke everywhere.
Am I screwed? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/help.gif.cee8f684da1ba626487a8bc51152e1ec.gif
Aside from my negligence was the reverse connection the cause of this?
