The W3v3's W6v2 W7 etc.. are all higher. I'm mainly looking at the 10W3v3 rated at 500 watts now.they have came out with their v2s now if thats what your talking about....They have different designs and a lot better all around
10W3v3 is rated at 300W RMS as optimum. You're in the danger zone before you hit 600The W3v3's W6v2 W7 etc.. are all higher. I'm mainly looking at the 10W3v3 rated at 500 watts now.
They haven't changed the charts but look at the specs.10W3v3 is rated at 300W RMS as optimum. You're in the danger zone before you hit 600![]()
The W1v2's have a higher power rating than the W1/W0's, W3v3's have a higher rated power than the v2's, the W6v2's are higher rated than the original W6's.
If you want one sub to hum on 500 watts, 13W6 is your ticket:

If you go with 2 10W3v3's or 12W3v3's that will be good too.
Ok. I just did. They must have changed that very recently, because it didn't say that just a month ago. Must have had some testing that proved it can handle more. They haven't changed the charts but look at the specs.
Thats mostly what I was thinking, same speakers just higher numbers for comparison with other subs.I would bet they did it from complaints from local shops trying to sell them. I bet they have a hard time selling a sub rated at 300rms to some kid who sees some Legacy subs saying 2000w on it. Tons of people think power handling is directly related to output. There are even people here who think they are "educated" in the ways of car audio that believe this as well. That would be my guess.
