4 18's in a Focus hatch?!?!

so i utilized the search feature on this board and researched the Mach 5 MJ 18 and looks like a nice driver for the money. Im going to be getting a small hatchback (likely a focus hatch) and im debating some setups. considering the size of my hatch i was debating running 4 18" MJ's sealed.

does anyone know if this type of enclosure would yield decent results? i dont want to spend 1000+ on a setup that im not going to be happy with. i dont know much about wave cancellation or many of the technical aspects but if someone could give me some feedback that would be great

unless them 18's take a very small encloser its not going to work.I had a box for 4 15's firing up and with amps and batteries it took up the whole back of the car.

yeah the MJ's only take about 3 cubes each sealed. thats why i would run 2 firing up and 2 firing toward the rear

Why does everyone want to cram as many huge speakers in their ride as possible, even if it means running the boxes too small or going sealed?

Clearly, you are looking for output. Knowing this, four 18's sealed is pretty silly. Go with fewer drivers, or smaller drivers, in the apropriate box (vented, lots of port area, etc).

2 15s ported with plenty of power will tear a focus apart. don't waste your time on 4 18s.

I would do dual 12's - or maybe even a solo 12. in a focus hatch - you'd be conserving so much space and still get a good result.
