JL Help

i have one JL W3 that I bought from a friend and it is blown where can i send it or what can i do to fix this.

One of my friends blew a JL he had, and he just called every local shop around saying he bought a sub from them a few months ago and it blew, but he had no receipt....after about 5 or 6 tries he finally got a shop to give him another without asking any questions.

If that doens't work, try calling JL.

Wow, that's a good idea. Try that one out. Next time don't buy JL.

Is the JL a bad Sub? How many watts should i be running to it i am very new to all of this.

of course its not a bad sub. JL makes good subs but sometimes their products are overrated and over priced. i'm sure youll enjoy it.

No idea on the wattage. They are decent subs, for sure. Kind of overpriced and mainstream, though. They definitely have good potential though.

Depends on what W3 you have if its a 8,10,12,15 inch etc... also what model it is V1 or V2. you can check the specs on Jl's website http://www.jlaudio.com hope that helps.
