JL Audio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nope just some gangsta shit we have in our hometown on saturday nights, where people come with their sweet rides and all. we got cars there with hydrolics, air shox, train horns, sweet customized BMW's with custom rims and custom bmw body kits and such, one kid ther has a lotus, etc. Sometimes there be people in bentley's there and ferarris and lambos. its tight. happens every saturday night until cops break it up.

dont worry, i take care of it.
i dont care what u guys think, i think 2 13''w3v3's will be tight as fucl{, especially when i get that 2nd 500 watt amp and that new box...

that will prob put me over $2000 lol

and i still got to get better component speakers, an amp for those, and 2 new car batteries after i get all that shit...

dam this shit runs up there!!!
If you are doing a $200 "free" upgrade on subs but still have lackluster components, then you are truly hopeless. Stop saying free upgrade. It isn't a free upgrade numbnuts.

your probably right... its a sickness.
so what would u buy with $1400? what kind of stuff could i get? and it has tosound good and clean..
B friggin S! If you are willing to throw a 13w3 into the same enclosure that house 2 12w3s then you aren't worried about the sound. Otherwise you would just buy the "upgrade" and box at the same time. Keep running contradictions, savant. Truth is you are a fanboi and it tickles you to have the next size up of your favorite company, which is fine. Whatever makes someone happy with their purchase is fine with me. Thats all that matters in the end is that the purchaser is happy. To mask it as you wanting the best sound or "hit lower" while in the same sentence contradicting yourself with very well known "SQ" no-nos is retarded.

holy shit where in florida?? that sounds so f'n gangstaaaa

u guys bring out the worst in me.. i never thought id get all this online abuse from a subwoofer forum, just cuz i own JL...
For me and many others, it isn't because you run JL. Many respectd members run JL. Just about anyone here will agree JL has earned a lot of respect. What gets me and others on your shit, is the stupidity and contradictions in your words and your defending them when called on it.

He's not talking about your amp.But put up that SS filter. Ask the tards at the audio shop what your box is tuned to and put the filter at what its tuned at, or a little lower. Make it close.

Turn down the bast boost, I bet your subs are clapping like hell. You must think that's balla.
You don't set up an SS to what the box is tuned at or as close too. Sounds to me, you don't even have a clue how set an SS.

Setting the subsonic filter (if available):

1) Determine the tuning frequency of your enclosure (if using a sealed enclosure, turn SSF off or to minimum frequency)

2) Calculate the desired SSF frequency by using the formula: SSF = Tuning*3/4

3) If number is not whole, round to the nearest integer

4) Write the SSF frequency down

5) Calculate the desired SSF voltage by using the formula: SSF_Voltage = 0.707*Sub_Voltage

6) Write the SSF voltage down

7) Turn the SSF to the maximum frequency

8) Set track to the SSF frequency and set to repeat track

9) Set to volume written down in speaker setting stage

10) Turn down the frequency on the SSF control until you reach the SSF Voltage from step 6

11) Turn the volume down to 0

I do want optimum sound quality. You can only upgrade your subwoofers for the first year, so if i only had the money to buy the subwoofers, i would just have them put em in the box i have right now. Then when i have the money to get a new box, i'll do it.

And ya, i need components...

lol i know this one kid who has a Walmart megaphone/loudspeaker or something like that mounted on his subwoofer. That thing is so fricking loud!! (not very good sound quality) but good if u posted up somewhere on the beach chillin.
