JL Audio vs. Treo TSX

I am a JL Audio man, but I heard these subs the other day and I was ****ing amazed. The price on them though is just crazy. I'm looking for 2 12's in either make. What do yall recommend? Are the Treo's really worth it. If it helps I listen to a lot of rap.

The 12 Treo TSX and right now I have 2 JL12 W0s 8ohms, that I was either going to add another, but apparently they don't make W0s anymore or I was going to put in a different series of JL. Recommendations would be appreciated.

and get a 1000watt amp and your good 2 go.....and being that u like rap....put them in a bandpass box tuned at 35hz and your set

I think you should talk to mrray13. I beleive that he has had experence with both and can give you excellent advise. PM him or you can catch him on www.teamssaudio.com more often.

Theres no too many treo's out there simply because its hard to get them.

I've been to thier site and the dealer/vendors area was non-exsistant.

I emailed them, he asked me what area I live in so that he could get me a list of them, so I did, and never got a reply back.

Great!

I dont know about the other subwoofer though.

JL audio is great, i would recomend the W3V2's or the W6's.........or if ya want serious bass check out my sig and get that.

Chevy Audio must have spent ALOT of $$ on his setup though, but to have the best costs $$$. If I was out of college, working at a REAL job, I'd go for the best too!!

The TSX hits extreamly hard in the right box. While i was buying my SSX's the rep for treo was at the shop dropping off my subs + some others and showing off their boxes... their boxes are retardedly loud and clear... Just keep bugging them, it only took 1 day for them to email me back and the guy actually called me and gave me directions to the store so maybe the just missed your email. But anyway ive heard the W0, w3, and w7's and in the box the guy had reminded me of a 13w7... ported, i mean it was almost as loud as my 3 10" audiobahns and those are know to get loud and it was significantly cleaner than mine. Im unsure of how they would sound in a box other than what they build for them.
