JL Audio: Makes the same power at all impedences, not 1ohm stable

Orion: Doesn't make the same power at all impedences, is 1ohm stable

IMHO, it comes down to which of those two features you want.

I'll be a ***** and among the other opinions given, say that JLs 1000/1 re-sell value is amazing.

You may be upgrading in a year or so anyways.

Like nick stated above, Orion for the low impeedence jobs, but the JL for the internal x-over and settings. Although, the HCCA series has very good settings IMO,

JL 1000 is a great amp but it is rather large and pricey. I have no experience with Orion but people here seem to like them.
