im only 16 and money is always tight, with gas, the ladies, and everything else involved in a teenagers life. I saw a pyle 1000 watt 4 channel amp for around 60 bucks on ebay, and im just wondering if this is total extreme crap? or is it fine for someone with absolutely no money. how long do they last? how much distortion?

first 1000 watts, maybe if lightening strikes... second it looks like it's from the 80's.

Look... if you really are short on cash and are not obsessed with having a nice quality system then it'll work for you, but I'd never buy it...

that amp is 70W RMS x 4 @ 4 ohms... direct from the manual... it's not on the main spec page... they list it DEEP in the manual... they overrate their products SOOOO bad... look for a profile amp... profile makes a lot better products than pyle... but hey it's ur money... but if it was me i'd save up a lil more and get something better

US Acoustics. They are good from what I have read on this forum and actually do their rated power. I don't know that anything can touch it at it's price point. They come with a 3-year warranty too.
