JL Audio disappoints me

Big companies dont give a crap about individual customers. we go through that shit at work... people tryin to get some deals sayin, "We'll i shop here a lot and spend a lotttt of money". I'm like, "...so...". thats just how they have to run it, they really dont have time for each individual customer to speak to on a individual basis.

Why do you think most of us run "custom built" subs. That and most of which can easily be Reconed for a 1/3rd of the original retail price.(btl recone is like $115 for me.)

AT LEAST you did not pay $990 for a Jl w7 and have it blow out....audio shop by me deals only in jl audio..price tag on a w7 almost 10 BILLS!!!..i immediately ran for the front door. Jl audio is ok, but not as good as some people think.

I've never had a problem with DD's service. They are prompt and responsive and ship quickly.

I've never had a problem with DD's service. They are prompt and responsive and ship quickly.

DD is also not as massive as JL Audio, thus they can still have great service. Once a company expands past a certain point it gets into bad customer service. Usually when they go corporate

x2, thats when they have strict "policies", where all customers are equal. you get the same customer service whether you buy $50 or $5000.

So i can't really blame them. with DD you can call and ask to speak to the owner and you'll probably could on the spot or within 24 hours

Good luck talking to the head of JL Audio. You'll have to go through a chain of command of 50 or so steps in management to reach him

the only thing that disappoints me are people who buy stuff and dont do research on a product and bash the company when they cant get something 4 nothing or free. Just because they cant do a $100 recone doesnt mean their a bad company anyone on here would have told u there recone/repairs are pricy. When i had my my 12w6v2 it was like $200 to get fix friom hi-fi buys when they were still open. you can either afford it or dont complain about it and move on homie...
