JL audio 6w0 question

So I traded for a jl 6w0-4 brand new in box still and had an amp question. I have a punch 300.1 and am wondering I it's too much amp for that little thing. I'm planning on having a kick panel box made for it and it's just to add a little more low-mid bass.

Well I don't want o buy another amp. Maybe I'll just look for another 6w0 and split the power between them.

just dont max out ur amp and u should be fine. Gunna have to watch it though.
