Depends on what you want to accomplish, in your case you're wanting SPL from what I'm reading.

SQ / Sound Quality = For sounding good, not necessarily for "loudness"

SQL / Sound Quality Level = Sounding good while being loud...

SPL / Sound Pressure Level = Just loud as shit.

What exactly do you want this setup for? Competition? Show? Just daily street beating?

i had a w7, loved it, and was loud yet still clean...i sold that and bought a re 12, from what i was told the re is just as good as the JL in terms of music quality and will be louder than a w7.

Well personally i am a fan of retarded loud bass that makes your ears hurt so im not into the w7 line and would say the MT is a sick and overall better driver that would smash the w7, but if quality with definition is your goal the w7 is very nice and still fairly loud for your average person and to go with that.

good choice, don't be fooled either, i had a friend with a pair of 13w7's in about 2.xx cubes each ported to low 30s getting less than 1000 each and it was freaking stupid loud. his explorer was falling apart, your throat hurt like hell and it sounded great! Either way you go make sure you port those beasts

what is the W7 run now, $400 used? Each? Personaly I could go with 2 15" (or 12") Fi audio Q's with BP. From there put them on a Kicker 2500.1. Buying brand new you would be at less then used JL products. Just my advice.
