Just bolded what I don't think is true.I've lost track of what exactly is being compared here, but 12" SX vs. 12W7 the SX will own it in spl... probably by 3db or more. As a daily driver you're probably looking at slightly better performance in the 25-35hz range from the W7, but the SX will will be louder from 35hz and up. If all you care about is ultimate SQ and dont care about it being loud (130db) then the W7 is the obvious choice.
Now, if you are comparing a 13.5W7 to a SX 15 for anything other than pure SQ then the SX is the obvious choice. The SX will play just as low, with just as much authority, and be louder over the entire spectrum. (especially 45-55hz region) Same goes for SPL... the SX will own it. Not knocking the W7 at all, but if you are going to compare it with something it needs to be compared to the XXX not the SX.
I stopped your quote here for obvious reasons //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I dont have to imagine... I've used both subs exstensively, and can give my results without question. When you have your own meter and access to all kinds of cool toys it's amazing what you can find out about all these subs and amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'm not disagreeing that you can make a basshead happy with a pair of W7's, but IMO he would be a lot happier with all that extra money in his pocket //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifJust bolded what I don't think is true.
I would imagine...
