are you looking for SLP or SQ, cause W7 are all SQ... if you want SPL there are subs out there that are plenty louder for cheaper to. if i was you i would keep looking cause i really think you can find something better for cheaper. to many people, i think are going JL. im just a person that likes to stick out and have something different though

Despite the fact JL Audio has top end stuff, I'd never... ever... buy them. The prices are ridiculous. That's just me though.

that is extremely box dependant. i have heard plenty single W7's that will knock your socks off.

The W7 is not a SQ sub, it's SQL, one of the first true SQL subs. Unless 33mm of x-max is now just "SQ", nah, they don't get loud........... Brand obviously dictates the performance of a driver more than it's design.

I got a 13w7, and, honestly, i expected more in the SQ department. It DOES state that the 13w7 is SQL, but i really thought is was leaning more torward SQ. AS compared to my old L7's, the SQ difference is closer than i expected.

Also the forums always has them....wheather on here or another car audio forum. I mean, no one is gonna pay the MSRP for anything....even a XXX 15. I got my 4 10's for 600 shipped thru someone that offered to help me get them. C'mon now....think.
