Jl audio 10w3-d2 vs fosgate 10"hx2???

dont know too much so bare with me...right now i have 2 rockford fosgate hx2's powered by a memphis 1200W 1 ohm amp in a 2004 dodge ram quad cab. they are in a custom enclosure built by a local dealer.the box is under the back seat... really tight fit. they sound really good for being in such a small space, but i want deep bass that will carry. i just recently won an auction on ebay for 2 jl audio 10w3-d2's that are practically brand new for $197. i did some research and the w3's are said to work really well in tight spaces.. my question is are the w3's better than the hx2's? which one hits harder?

hx2;s hit harder but the w3 10s go deeper...i should now i bought 2 hx2 10's and 3 he2's and 3 10w3's......so i know what sounds like what...

if u putting 1200watts on 2 10w3's...omg u will get loud...4 shits and giggles get a epicenter....if u want your bass restored

yea... i just want my shit to to hurt my insides... want my bass to carry more outside the vehicle... will the w3's do that??? i was going to wire them in parrallel.. is that the right way?

the w3's will do that...and if u get a epicenter it will help u as well

parallel is good.get the most out of your amp..just watch your gains and u should be fine

i was able 2 hit 140's with 2 10w3's but that was in a bandpass box

w3v2's or original w3's? if its the v2 that can handle 500wrms easy i gave me 12's 500 daily and same amp single sub 1kwrms hyad to be careful on the gain with 1k tho they tried to bottom out on me

i had the first ones back in 2001..and i was giving it 600-750watts each and it loves it...i got a vid of one 10w3 with 600watts on it playing a 13-19hz test tone

is that shared space or each..if its shared you ok..if its each i would wire the subs in parallel..but if u do decide to wire them in parallel....just becareful not to move your subs pass the xmax

I just went from 2-12" HX2's to 2-10" JL W6 v2's and to me there was a HUGE difference in the two subs. The HX2s hit so much harder it wasnt even funny. I will say that I'm underpowering both however so its maybe not a fair comparison. However, if you want to be heard a block away...its hard to beat the punch subs.
