Nothing Is Promised
Are they any good? Trying to find something relatively cheap for Christmas present.

More SPL or SQ oriented? If you own one, what enclosure and whatkind of power are you sending it? Thanks.

I'm an SQ person but wouldnt mind to try out a pure SPL sub for fun.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If those aren't very good/reliable then what subs(s) would be good for 424 @ 4ohm, 580 @ 2ohm, or ~650 @ 1ohm? Thanks.

Any other suggestions? Price ~$125 for a single sub or ~$150 for two. (I cant really spend 150 for one sub cuz if i tell my parents well its a deal and u get two they will be fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif )

60/40 SQ/SPL... at the least otherwise more SQ oriented. Thanks.

Again I have 424 @ 4ohm, 580 @ 2ohm, or ~650 @ 1ohm to deal with powerwise.

Yup. I've loved all the Infinity subs I've used. Currently I have two GTO804's FS that are the same motor/basket/magnet (w/e the word for entire basket is lol) as the GTO's...they are nice but kinda looking for a different direction..to get out of "the usual box" or whatever you wanna call it but thanks man if i cant find anything else i might just get them just to have them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No, a local place had one but it wasn't hooked up. Seemed like a very nice driver build-quality wise.

Search around here for opinions on Orion subs... they have a good rep. Maybe someone has them and can chime in?

I have 4 of the Orion P Series 15's right now and they are awesome. I would keep them in a sealed box unless you are competing and give them at least 500 RMS a piece. These subs have the best low end i have heard and i have heard quite a few subs.

thanks for all the comments..

about that group buy for RE...

how would a single RE SE12 do in 1.75cf tuned to around 28Hz do? (it would be getting 580W)

or RE SE10 in 1.25 tuned to 28Hz w/580

Never tried RE so I might get one...
