Hey there, I'm new to this site, so Hi everybody!
In the past year I have built my first car system. I have a couple apline subs with an orion amp hooked to a Pioneer AVIC F90BT head unit. Within the past 2 months, I decided to replace my front speakers and tweeters.
I put in a Infinity Reference 6030cs set and a JL audio G2250.
I have been living with the following problem and have not been able to figure it out. From time to time (not all the time), my left side woofer and tweeter jump up to a really high volume with the other side staying the same. This is to the point where it scares the shit out of me while listening lol... I have narrowed the problem down to the amp.
I am not sure if it is a grounding problem or what not, but all the connections are tight and secure.
If I wiggle the input sensitivity knob the left side speakers pops, crackles, varies in volume, and pretty much makes them freak out lol for lack of better terms. This is a brand new amp and couldn't imagine that it is defective. This only occurs for the left side.
Also, I have tried putting a ground loop isolator in between the headunit and the amp, but no luck.
Any ideas are welcome!
Thanks!
