jl 300/4 vs. us acoustics USX4085

well if that was the case i would go with the us acousics, but i have recently been told that autotek is a lil better, and it will put out more watts (115 about). i need all the watts i can get, and the autotek 4160 should do it, its only about 100more than usacoustics and i think it has pleanty of features too.

hell in that case if your not so worried about money I would go with BRAX or Zapco with out a doubt

my highest limit is about 370 or so... if you have anything that can put out 125watts or so, then that would be good.

you migth have had a bad amp then, they are know for great THD per dollar

its your install. i had the same problem cuz the place wired the RCAs and power cables down the same side of the car. maybe a bad ground too. it could be a bad amp, but most likely not. does the noise fade and increase with revving your engine?

DUDE get the us acustiks and set it up properly and you will have no problem.

and even if you set it up wrong, you can just get a 10 dollar sound filter from your local car audio shop

what if i can find the jl for 300$ and the usacoustics is 200$

then i was thinking that i would go with the jl amp..

and just to mix it up, i have just found the pheonix gold 600.4 tantrum amp which is about the same price as the jl amplifier. but any opinns im glad to hear them.
