JL 300/2 - Low Ω light

My left mid in my car started to distort like a week ago. Gains were set with an DMM. Check my amp and its giving me the yellow "Low Ω" light. Amp is hot as hell as well. Tried to hook up an another speaker I had with a short piece of speaker wire next to the amp in case I had a short in my normal run, same thing. Next I unplugged all the speaker wire from the amp, and the rca's as well. Still had the light. Still hot as hell.

Amp fried?

Pull all the power from it, and let it sit unpowered for a few minutes.

Just tried that, and got the same result.

Maybe a bad power supply or speaker output? i'd have it checked before it does die and/or get fried.
