Looking for a trade for another very high end system. complete or just subs. if just the subs then they have to be wired to 1 ohm and play well at 1000 watts. cause I have a memphis 16pr1.1000

Your reply to my post is interesting in a few ways...First I asked that people refrain from the name-calling...but kids will be kids. Secondly, if you had taken the time to read my entire posts you may have noticed that I was in the business for many years, this does enable me to distinguish between specific speaker models. More to the point the Sonicelectronix W7 was indeed the AE version, the OCS W7 was the original. Functionally they are identical, but you are correct they do have a higher price-point(AE version) however the tradeoff(in the current market) is that there are very few 'reputable'(and I use that term loosely because really any online product source that isn't 'JL approved' isn't by definition 'reputable') that actually carries the older version. And in the context of the discussion BostonJLguy and I were having I think it was kinda assumed when he said 'online price' that he most likely meant a solid product source as to be compared with the off-brand(and I don't mean any disrespect in the term off-brand...it's just easier to type than 'non-mainstream' LOL) product sources, when in actuality the off-brand product sources are superior to an extent because they are 'factory authorized'. Anyways it kinda renders your point moot. Thirdly you're telling me to keep my opinions to myself...which is really kind of ironic..you are aware that we're in a FORUM, by definition it is a place where ideas and OPINIONS are discussed. Last and certainly not the least confusing...You're defending the same stance as I am; That the W7 is a good product, I quote: this sub is underrated and hits hard as **** not alot of ppl know what this sub can really do.

I couldn't agree more. I own the 'little' 8W7AE-3(yes I'm positive of the model) and it amazes me every time I fire it up. So...why are you upset at me?
