Jensen BP212 Wiring

Hey, i'm new to this sort of thing. I just purchased a Jensen BP212 Bandpass box, with a JPA1150 340w amp.

I was wondering how to wire the amp to the box. If i should use a certain kind of wire, which +'s and -'s to hook everything to. Thank you.

theres a sticky at the top of the wiring page for wiring all your sub configurations.

from what I can tell there's just one speaker connection on the box, and it's 4 ohms.

Your wiring will be as straightforward as possible. You just need a few feet of 12-16 ga speaker wire from amp to box.

Correct, thats why i was confused beacuse theres only 1 connection on the box.

the manual says it's best configured at a 2ohm load.

And i'm not sure which terminal to hook the wires to on the amp, it goes ++-- instead of +-+-.

Ok, take the + and hook it to the + of the amp, and the same for the -. If I'm wrong someone correct me.

You can use either + and either -, they're the same connection. There's only one speaker output on the amp, just 2 terminals to connect speaker wires to.
