tomorrow gonna wrap them, but first i gotta get some spandex from my hookup.

spandex > fleece

fleece sucks my hairy bawls

How exactly where they leaking?? They were full fiberglass??
I dont get it, do it right this time!!
the first pods that you see in pic 1, the fleece wrap was directly attached to the door panel with plastic epoxy, unremovable.

so after the first couple days or week or whatever, with opening and closing of the doors the passenger side started giving out a lil, and was leaking out the bottom and sides and sounded like shit.

the the drivers side started doing it.

so i learned my lesson ftl

I still want to give those mids a try. You like them?
yeahh i love them.

though if they cant keep up with the 4 st200's, they will be for sale and i will go with all pro audio mids/midbass

Not bad, If it were me. I would have removed that entire factory grill section and rebuilt that. I bet with a little bit of effort, you could have gotten a factory look and still had mids and tweets out the ying yang in each door. Your pods look out of place. Half the battle is making it look like you did nothing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

what mids are those and how do you attatch them to the panel when u fiberglass it?
they are mpyre 65m mid's. they are 7"s

attach pods to the panel with deck screws through the panel with a piece of wood on the back of the door panel for the screw to grip/drive into, much more secure than just driving screws into just the plastic of the door panel

both bases are done and trimmed and super strong/stiff. didnt work on the build today.

tomorrow making the rings for the mids and spandex wrapping the pods. then resinnnnnnnn
