Hey what do u guys think about JBL subs. The GTO or Power lines. I think i might get a pair of these. Maybe 2 10s or something. Here are some links.

I'll probably just get the Power series because they are only 10 bucks more than the gto's right now and probably sound better. Comments?

No one? I know they look pretty solid. The surround is nice and looks pretty beefy. It also has some nice numbers. xmax 16 fs 33 etc

yea thats what I was thinking. Plus free shipping. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these in a car. I know they are old school and have been pumping bass for quite a while and most DJ's have these beasts sitting next to the turn tables. They look like if they will pound.

$190 for a sub that can only handle 400 watts though... I havnt had any experience though so I dont know how theyll perform with that power. My 2000SPL's can handle 750 watts and they only cost $100 a piece.

well if they pound equally as loud with that amount of watts that would make them better no? I mean because they do lookin promising in the SPL side.

well this is going in a coupe cavalier. Even though it has a nice size trunk bigger subs dont always sound good. The best performance i got out of some some was a pair of sealed tens. I gess the size of the box gives it enough space for the waves to go back into the car. Im pretty sure the 10s will hit. Now Im just tryin to make Cardomain match etronics price on them which is 149.99.

They should sound good. They are very beefy, and are conservatively rated.

good stuff. Ima order them tomorrow. Im just going to give them .75-.80 cubes each in their own chamber with lightly stuffed polyfill. Should be nice. I havent had subs in quite a while.
