JBL W12GTi-MkII maybe 2?

I'm searching for a decent SQL sub stage I've been stuck on this debate with myself for a couple weeks now and today stumbled upon JBL W12GTi-MkII on sonic. they have a sale buy one get one 50% off witch seems good to me. I was thinking these two or one with a DC 2k or a Soundqubed 2200 will these put out enough power for the 3 ohm single woofer or 1.5 ohm double woofer? also I really don't like the way these subs look I know that's not why we buy subs but it plays a small factor in my decision witch is why i haven't purchased anything yet. I love the way American bass XR's look I like the smoothness of the design like the type R's too. anything out there on the same playing field of the JBL GTI that has a smooth design like the XR's or the R's? Am I being too picky?

Yea I would prefer new I think I'm going to go with the Hertz HX 300 final answer

You definitely won't need that much power for them. The Hertz driver is nice, but I'd take the jbl gti over it any day.

Any reason for not checking out used drivers?

I've been browsing through the classifieds but I like to have some kind of security with new if it doesn't work or breaks quickly I have some kind of reassurance. I'll probably go with the hertz because I have a Zed leviathan and channels 5+6 bridged will put out 600 RMS at 4 ohms and the extra money I'm saving by not getting another amp will bring me much closer to a HSK XL set and then I'll be good to go with the install.

Everyone ive bought from on here has offered a refund if it doesnt work, including DarkHart. Plus if you say it doesnt work and they refuse to refund you. You can file a claim thru Paypal,if you used paypal. and youll usually get your money back

They are very nice speakers. They are rated at 800 RMS 5000 peak because they are nearly impossible to bottom due to the motor design. It has a built in braking system that prevents overexcursion. Give them a good sized ported box tuned low and they will be very effecient and quite loud. Def a great choice for a SQL woofer, especially since they can play as high as you want to mate them up to your midbasses. I'd shoot for about 4 cubes net tuned around 30hz if you can fit it.

Also your crazy, the GTI's look like pure ***. The motor looks amazing
