Both of those speakers will work fine. The installation will make or break the sound quality.

I actually demo'd both these brands and comparabley priced Morel 3 way set up and would reank them as follows:
1) Morel
2) Focal
3) JBL

I also listened to the 2 way versions of all three and added in the Pioneer Pioneer TS-Z65CH 2 way compents and was really surpirsed that the Pioneers really held their own. Extremely clean accurate and articulate.

But as mentioned by another, installtion is a key factor.
