jbl power series, p1224 enclosure

i just bought 2 of these (p1224) because they were only 125$ for the pair, so I'm now trying to determine what type of enclosure to put them in and I'm having a little trouble finding people who have done much experimenting with them in different enclosures. They're going to be powered by a dsc1500.1 (1500@1ohm) in the trunk of a sedan. Right now I'm leaning towards around 1.2-1.3 each sealed. But before i cut into the wood i want to get a little input from people who know something about them.
