How does the Brahma 15" do in a sealed box?

I've had this MK1 15" Brahma forever and want to put it in my Dodge Magnum. I've only used it in ported boxes in my other cars and it always got low and loud. I was thinking of putting it in a sealed box to save space but I've never heard these in a sealed box. How do they sound sealed and what internal volume would I need? I listen mostly to heavy metal and some rap. I don't have the amp yet so I can get whatever power I need.

I ran one sealed years ago and loved it -- my box was 3 cubes... fantastic sound, IMO.

I can't tell you how the 15s do but I have two MKll 10s and they do great sealed. As far as power goes it should do great on a good clean 1k rms amp 1.5k is about as much as you should go.

Yep, they will work very well in a sealed enclosure. I still prefer them in ported though...

I still love the "brahmas broke my door!!!" hahaha...never gets old
