I have a sticky situation on my hands, but here goes.........

The JBL is 1200w @ 1ohm via ????v

The ED 9.1 is 1200w @ 1ohm via 12.5v

The JBL is used....................$225 shipped

The ED 9.1 is BNIB...............$275 shipped

Please let me know which one you think I should go with. I personally want to do the ED9.1, but I have heard a lot of bad news about their customer service.

Your taking about teh JBL BPx1100.1 or the JBL BP1200? There completely different amps...

If its the BPx, you should be kicked in the nuts for not buying the Crown amp over that eD shit...

I've got two nine.1's. I have liked them so far. Had to send in one because voltage drops killed it, sent one in because one of the leads inside came unsoldered, and sent the first one back again because I killed it with a .5 ohm load.

As long as you don't mind waiting 8 weeks for an amp to get fixed (if it needs to) I think they are okay for the money.

I have not owned any of the big JBL's. Only a little 300.1 and it was great.

i'll only have experience wit da 9.1. it put out rated power and more. i personally loved mine before it got stolen.when i call customer service everybody always seem nice to me.

A few timez I have been told to stay away from ED, but I thought that the ED9.1 was a pretty solid amp. I have a similar problem with my 1200D's. I hate waiting for $hit to be repaired when it could have been made solid in the first place. I sent in my last amp to Directed in November, and now they are telling me that it would be mid-May before I see any type of turnaround. From now on I said that I would just spend a lil bit extra and get some quality stuff. I hate waiting on warranty claims.

I have a pair of american bass cx100.1s I am selling, they are HIGH quality amps, stable down to 0.5 will run at 12vlts-16vlts will do solid clean power, will do all of 1200rms, and they are priced to move asap, I have 1 bnib 1 used, if your interested let me know.
