this statment makes your install skills questionablenot possible, cd5000 is an excellent head-unit I have the gain set very low. If I was clipping anything it would have been long gone. This setup has been working great for nearly a year now. Now routinely the amp shuts off at volumes over 30 and always at 80 even with the gain turned down..

I really feel like dying after seeing **** jbl 3498398 times on one page, is it necessary to post that after EVERY post? Its not JBLs fault. Theres no reason your HU volume should be at MAX anyways! turn the gains UP a little, and turn your HU DOWN!
