jbl 600.1 or 1200.1?

I am going to run 2 10's in the back of my truck and need help on which amp to buy. I am going to run 2 Audiobahn AW1000Q 10" High Excursion Woofers and was wondering which amp to get. Or do I need to find different subs?(I was impressed when i saw two 10 sony explodes going at best buy) I own a single cab f150 2000 model, so i dont have a lot of space in the back to run anything big like 15's, and im pretty sure i cant get 12's back there either (if i could i would), this includes the enclosures as well. if you want loud try a brahma or something like that. the box size for the 12 is like 1 to 1.75.

I look into that, thanks for the help...I was also looking into the Kicker Comp C10 subs, and man.. the grills that come with it look sweet, which leads me to my second question, is there a site or something with custom grills?. Also, is there a car adio chat room on irc anywhere?

This would be a system that need to be customized. special box and a nice well ventlated place for the amp. you could fit this in your truck, well the tens would be the best thing, these subs have a deep basket. I know this set up would be tha shit.

A-hole come on now hes lookin for a system he can get. the jbl crown isnt even in production yet and is not goin to be a cheap amp. and that amp would fry the hell out of those subs. and then he would have a problem with the fit of those subs he would have absolutly no room from his seat to the dash with those subs so that would screw him. ok now on to a realistic system i will recomend the jbl BP series amps great for the price and not a huge thing to hide. as far as subs do stay away from the sonys as said earlier ive owned them when i was younger and they are junk. ive never heard the audiobahns but ive heard mixed things on them. you might also want to try the w3s possibly maybe some shivas but since money doesnt matter then id say get some brahamas or some eclipses if you wanted good sq just look around on the net and see what you find just make sure that your subs are goin to fit in a truck box because some subs have a large mounting depth and they wont fit in a truck box unless you plan on doin some major modification to your truck. you could always get a hard tonue build a box in your truck box and port it into the cab. but that would take some time and money

I recomend you get a 15 inch eclipse alum... it has great SQ and awsome SPL...I had it in a 1.3 ft3 sealed box and it pounded great...better than my firends truck and he had 2 12L5....

AND YES THE 15 WAS ON MY FORD F-150 4x4 single cab pick upp...

I only moved the passangers seat 1 inch forward, thats it.... For those who say that it doesn't try it out first....You are gonna have to remove the small compartment in the back bottom, don't worry is screws in or out...

YOU can Have a 15....in a single cab truck...

Yeah that Eclipse is a good sub, look at Crystal's also.

Thanks for the help, were did you get the enclosure for the 15? i'll look into that. I hope i dont have to ad a bigger alternator but i think ill have to, will a bigger battery help or would looking into battery caps be a better idea. I think my alternator is a standard 95amps and i heard that the jbl 1200.1 draws 114 amps max sooo???

I made the enclosure myself... It was pretty easy and turned up being pretty good for my first time...
