yes, it is 1 ohm mono stable. the output at 1 ohm, is the same at 2. its rated at 1200 but usually does about 1300.

"running the amp in one ohm will shorten its life". those are the words of a tech at jbl.

im not the smartest, but i would recommend 2 ohms minimum. the higher damping factor will make your bass sound alot better and put less stress on your electrical system.

the thing is i have 2 treo ss1244 which are dual 4ohm so i can either run them in parallel and get 1ohm or series and get 4ohm

what would you sugest i do.

if i sould wire them in series what amp would you sugest i run them on? (im sorta on a budget so it cant be to expensive)

itll be fine running the jbl at 1 ohm. just make sure it has room to breath and srt all your settings properly.

theres nothin wrong with running it at 1 ohm it does **** lots of power though. i switch mine from from 4 ohms and 1 ohms.

You can look into the usx1000d it does 1250rms@1ohm
