Gunz That Turn on Nunz
Just wanted to make a nice environment with a dedicated thread for every other member in here after a hard day's work to completely trash a self absorbed tool aka a complete sorry sack of sh*t. Just look at his post history and you have all the ammo you want to take pot shots at him.
Have fun guys. This call out thread has been coming from a mile away.

I don't give a hoot about views or listens. I did NOT put this up on Youtube, the poet of our band the Cheep Effects did. And we had several other players in our band who actually were very good musicians. I was the techie of our band who knew how to plug equipment together! The band started when I hooked my Pioneer CXT-1000 to have a microphone as input and mixed the slightly time delayed "tape monitor" signal for a weird echo effect.
Ever make any music yourself? Probably not. Go fish!

Of course I know Ohm's Law. Ever hear of or work with Maxwell's Equations? I have, in my electrical engineering school. Pretty amazing that one can derive everything known about electromagnetism from...
Don't understand Libertarianism, eh? Basically it's an immature egocentric teen Alpha male's philosophy of "Gotta do everything for ourselves, no government necessary!" which of course is BS!

Electrically engineeringly speaking, voltages are normally fine from a distance over fairly thin wires. Current is the thing that burns wires up, not voltage. A voltmeter will have a listed impedance on it, the higher the better, typically in the K to M range especially with all the solid state computerized stuff today. Because you don't want the voltmeter itself to become a load and cause a significant voltage drop.

Never worked specifically as an EE, so I just know EE theory, no professional experience, I did computer work for IBM for 7 years. I have a CS degree too. My school called CS and EE "computer engineering" and I got both Bachelor's degrees.
Now I'm an RN though. Much harder to outsource direct patient care!

You are challenging what someone (me) with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering says about voltage drops and voltmeters? Of COURSE you have never heard of a voltmeter producing a significant voltage drop!! Because that would be a VERY inaccurate voltmeter! DUH!! The best (most accurate) voltmeters has the highest impedance thus produce the lowest voltage drop for the circuit they are testing, Cheap Chinese JUNK voltmeters are less accurate and produce more of a load on the circuit tested. Simple Ohm's Law stuff! I actually knew all this BEFORE I became an Electrical Engineer.

I have more money than time and expertise so I farm out work to the worthy! ;-)

Yeah, I used to work for the Military Industrial Complex, facilitating designing and building bigger better ways of killing more people faster. Money was good but I got out of that nasty evil line of work and became an RN so now I am HELPING people via direct patient care and my karma feels MUCH BETTER!
I know now why you seem to contrary here, often. Your karma is suffering.

Now THIS is something as an Electrical Engineer I can speak with authority about!
Yes a big ole high Farad capacity capacitor correctly installed on the 12V+ power to the amp(s) will provide a little power "shock absorber" at the moments of high current draw and it's commensurate voltage lowering effect on the power to the amps, but that's basically all they do, Yes they will slightly increase the 12V+ power drawn from the battery/alternator, but that's their job! Store a little power for each and every transient very high current draw moment!
