That's the link to his profile if you wanna see it lol. I myself have very very little experience (newcomer), but I don't go around giving advice on things I haven't researched...
Wtf is it with his obligation to keep talking about "working with his installer guy?" Why would you pay an installer just for you to "try" and help them?
It just amazes me that he legitimately seeks advice and basically tells people who give it to him that he thinks he knows more than them or something like that... I'm surprised his installer guy hasn't killed himself yet.
Smart guy right here. That bugs me a lot....to see him giving advice to the new people when he's prob never installed a HU or speaker in his life. But claims he has messed with car audio years ago, in his teens years or whatever. If that were true, he wouldn't need an installer guy from CL. It's like he's paying someone to do the work for him. Ok, there are some things we pay people to do in life. BUT...to give themselves credit to help others, is just wrong.
Amp installation for dummies 101: Find proper ground for amp, leaving wire from G on amp to chassis short as possible, all while sanding the paint to bare metal.
Hook up Remote wire to Remote wire on back of HU...typically will be blue/white.
RCA's will be on Input section of amp to RCA preouts on back of HU.
Finally, speaker wire, depending upon which amp...sub, multi-channel, etc.....those spkr wires should be self explainitory. However, a 4 ch amp you will have 4 pieces of wiring....and thus will be wired to your speakers.
