Yeah, JML is one of the best in St Louis and they carry Hertz and Zapco. Can't believe he actually wanted them to install with all the places around town.

Yeah, I bought a bunch of Alpine equipment then emailed JML to see about getting them to install it for me, and they were like "Well, we ONLY do auto audio installs if you let US buy the equipment WE select for you and let US make all the decisions about YOUR audio system to be installed" and I had no respect at all for their holier than thou attitude! If I want Alpine equipment installed, that is MY choice! JML evidently does not pride itself on customer satisfaction and just wants to make as much MONEY as possible as I'm sure they get lots of very good and very expensive audio equipment at a discount them upcharge their customers for it! Screw that!

It's like going to a 5star restaurant with your own groceries and telling them you want them to make you a big mac. Sorry it doesn't work that way. They want there quality dishes to be viewed as there product not some sad excuse for a burger. If you don't like the menu go somewhere that serves the crap you like.

JML didn't get MY MONEY because of their business attitude. That hurt them that much.

And to the other poster's analogy of a restaurant. Car audio does not suffer under an FDA health department either! Big difference, YUGE!

If a shop has a rep of upholding nice installs they won't change that for a cheap install. Craigslist install.

There are many shops that do that. But there are many more that will just do a simple plug and play for you.

You don't even know the difference.

I certainly DO know the difference. And I accept it! I was gonna do the whole install and tuning myself, so I'm just farming out the hardware install mostly, and I accept the fact my installer guy's not gonna help me a lot with the DSP tuning beyond trying to get the DSP's auto-tune to work. All the rest of the tuning is up to me. This is the contract me and my installer guy made with each other. Satisfying to me and him too!

You do not know the difference. You have no idea what a world class install consist of. The fine details that go into that most don't even notice. Go back to your hole. And good luck getting help after you relieze your car sounds like ****.
