ive got a problem

like the title says ive got a problem!!! my homie should up with a jensen VM9311 today and let me have it. it was practically brand new so i hooked up all the wires except the parking brake wire just to make sure everything worked and it was all good. so i go to close the screen and the **** thing want close. i mean the down angle wont work or nothing. ive got plans in like 4 hours and my whole dash is ripped out. can anyone help. thanks LA

i still cant figure this out. ive tried to just ground it, ive tried to put it on a toggle switch( the only toggle i have is from my lowrider and its a 3 prong) i cant find the parking brake wire. imgoing to try and ground it to something differt but if theres anything im missing please let me know. thanks LA

Parking brake wire is probably somewhere behind your gauge cluster...

or possibly even connected to the park brake!!!

yea i unerstand that the wire is behind the cluster and hooked to the brake itself. maybe im looking at this wrong if i hooked it to the parking brake light wouldnt that put 12v on it. or am i completly wrong .

alright so i went a got a different toggle and got the video working but ii still cant get the screen to close. when i push the button it beeps twice and thats it. it also want change the angle of the screen. ant ides?

never mind on the help i think i may have fried the **** thing. i dissconeccted my batery and now the screen doesn't work at all.
