It's the little things.

run down to the local dollar store man.. That is why I always keep extra in the car incase i'm running late or in a rush and forget to do that.
i used to do this too, until the Georgia heat melted it and left deo on my floor lol... OP, i keep a can of AXE in the car just for that reason. and it doubles as an AF for the needed occasion.

Acting and smelling like high-income white trash....
We see more and more Higher Income people shopping at Dollar or Discount stores more and more every year. We are actually moving and developing more into area's as more and more people are wanting discount shopping and be able to get in and out of the store in less than 10mins when spending less than $100.. Wal-Mart and other stores like them are missing the boat because they have 20 lanes and 2 open and people don't want to wait in line for you to take their money... Cost-Co out of Cali is killing Wal-Mart and Target because of these reasons. Cost-Co over the past 2 years has been doing test markets with Wal-Mart Type/Size stores and are killing them.

with the way our economy currently is shopping at these stores is very beneficial (especially being a broke college student). my truck gets 17 mpg and as we all know gas is >$4.00/gal so in order for me to keep gas in this thing, dollar stores and other related stores are perfect for the little things.

Yup.. for basic stuff Dollar Stores are great.. have always shopped at them and still do.. Most Dollar stores with their size are placed in closer locations to the area's so traveling time is cut down and most prices are better or on par with Walmart..

In the past 2 years I've seen Walgreens go from a 3,000 intended stores to open up by the first quarter of 2013 to a total of 300.. CVS same way and others their sales can not keep up with the way the economy is crashing.. Wal-Mart is doing Neighborhood Markets 15-20,000 sq ft stores like Freds but pricing is still the exact same and some times a little more higher from some of their test stores.

i can't remember the name of the movie, but there is a film about Walmart. It explains the "behind-the-scenes" and employee healthcare/other benefits they offer. After watching it, it makes you want to not support Walmart , but we're still going to because of their 'rollback prices'.

We aren't the employee... so we feel bad, but we won't boycott it. however, some people do feel bad and WILL boycott Walmart.

I dislike Wal-Mart, very bad business practices I've interviewed managers with them and so forth.. they all hate wal-mart but most of the time it is the only place to shop and the only place they could get hired pretty quickly.. Wal-Mart has a turn around on workers 3 months.. Managers about 12-18 months

I find it annoying when walmart here locally turns off half the lights to save money...motherfuckers if you just put some cashiers in the 90 fucking lanes maybe we'd be out of the fucking store sooner.
2 reasons they do that, Lack of Workers to keep people in the stores longer, the longer you are in the more you will buy.. Lights off to confuse some people
