Can you bitch to your provider and get a credit? We get cable and internet from the same place (Time Warner) and the internet was down for over a week once and I called and raised nine kinds of hell until they gave us a week's worth of service credit on the bill.

Lol, sounds like you have the same cable company that the people in the city I live in have. I'm about 1.5 miles to far out to get cable, they didn't run the cable out this far. I'm sure they will sooner or later. Back when we moved out here in 88 there were only about 3 houses on our street. Now there are 15. My parents bought our 5 acres for $17,500, now 1 acre goes for 3-4 times that.
