Its Called Frequency Not "A Hz"!

I have seen this said for the last time without me saying something... It is a called Frequency or a Frequency range not a fucking "Hz" so get your terminology right!

Here is an example for those of you who still dont understand...

If I properly sealed the trunk from the cabin what db range do you guys think an "average" system would get on daily? I know people try for the numberzz with tones at certain hz ranges, which tones do you use to actually find which works best in your car? I downloaded a torrent of a bunch of old school car audio cds, like Bassmechanic and others a while ago, should I just play the "30hertz tones" "50 hertz tones" etc etc until I find what? the tone that moves my car most?

Its not a "Hz range" its a frequency range god damn it!!!!

So next time you are asking what to tune your box to or whatever be the case Newbs make sure you get it right cuz your not asking "What Hz should I tune my box to?" Its "What frequency should I tune my box to?"!

As in: "I built my enclosure to peak at 55 cycles per second with an Fs of 39 inverse-wavelengths. I also set my HPF to 1.5 kilocycles. Help me figure out why my system sounds bad."

Prior to the mid '70s, that wouldn't have sounded weird at all. Hertz as a unit of frequency really only gained traction in the '60s, and took until the '70s to displace cycles per second.

OK if we can pick at anything the one that kills me is ++ to -- to + and - on the amp, for the love of god look up and learn the difference between parallel/series!
