It has been a bad night :(

I know your friend was driving the car, but the location of the intake was probably the problem...not his driving (even though he did drive through a DEEP puddle).

However you and him work things out, I've gotten all of my motors from http://www.hmotorsonline.com and have had fantastic results with them. The motors ship quick and they are very reliable (I've bought a b16 and d15 from them).

Good luck with the swap! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

PS: Go to http://www.honda-tech.com and SEARCH!!!! There's TONS of information on there.

I loaned my car out to my buddy tonight, and the worst case scenario happened.

He drove it through a massive puddle, and water went into the air intake. The car shut down immediately.

The car then blew a rod through the engine block, and I need a new engine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

What you ought to do, is instead of buying a new one, take the old one and rip it down and rebuild it with quality parts, probably be cheaper this way anyway.
