I had two pairs of RCA(front and rear) cables going into my 4 channel Cadence SQA4100 amp, got a temporary headunit with only two sets of preamp outputs so I unhooked the rear RCA set to use with my subwoofer amp. I switched the 4 channel amp's input to "2ch" so the rear speakers will be receiving signals from the front inputs, but the rear speakers didn't make any sound. I turned it off, switched back to 4ch and rehooked the RCAs back like it was before but my rear speakers still don't make any sound. Checked all the wires and they're all hooked up just like how it was working 2 days ago. I hooked up the RCA set from the front channel to the rear channel of the amp and it didn't make any sound either. The front two channels work just fine, the amp is getting good voltage, not in protection, stays cool and no prior issues. I put my ears to the rear speakers and I can hear a tiny bit of hiss so they are getting signals from the amp.
What can cause a 4 channel amp to all the sudden lose two channels with just changing the RCAs?
