Here's my issue...I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima GLE. I have a Pioneer headunit with the rest of the audio system being the OEM/factory BOSE (ie; speakers, amp, sub). My problem is that I can turn the volume up to about ten, with the volume increasing, but after that only the numbers will increase and not the volume. I was told that the issue is the BOSE system itself and the easiest fix is to completely bypass the Bose system...is this the case? If so, could someone maybe point me in the right direction. I have had some suggestions regarding different harnesses. I also don't consider myself a guru in this dept. either. I have looked for a right-up on this, but have been unsuccessful in finding one.

i had an 01 pathfinder with the bose, put a pioneer in there and it sounded alot better.metra makes a harness that plugs in that has rca jacks on it,did you try that one?
