blaugh!!!!
I am trying to hook up 2 12" dual4ohm subs to 4 ohms so I can have A LITTLE bass from my 3/4 channels on my Alpine F545.... 500watts@4 ohms bridged

is this wired right?? Both + wired together into the +amp, both -'s wired together into the -amp

That is how I have it hooked up now. Have the gain at like 1.3...so pretty high..yet there is barely any sound.....what do you think?? I figured about 400 watts should get some sound outta them???

Never wired an R with those banna plugs...but this is how you wire 2 D4s down to 4 ohms....wire both subs like this....
Fixed

ahhhhhhhhhhhh ok...i did the outside + - then the insides together...didnt smell anything yet so...heh heh...

Thanks for the help...be back in a min. with results.

Why not just parallel one sub to each channel?

Alot easier to wire and will be the same amount of power.

RMS Power (at 12V,20Hz-200Hz)

* Bridged 4 ohms : 300W x 1 (Ch-3/4)

* Per channel into 2 ohms : 150W x 2 (Ch-3/4)

* Per channel into 4 ohms : 100W x 4

* RMS Power (at 14.4V,20Hz-200Hz)

* Bridged 4 ohms : 125W x 1 (Ch-3/4), 500W x 1 (Ch-3/4)

* Per channel into 2 ohms : 250W x 2 (Ch-3/4)

Thats what you can do.
