Is This The Right Amp Choice?

I'm getting ready to put a system in my 2013 GMC Sierra. I'm getting ID CXS64's or Morel Tempo 6's for the front and Digital Design 1508 subs. The local shop has recommended an ARC 300.2 for the fronts, which I'm sure is perfect. For the subs hes recommended a Digital Designs CM1000.I know DD is good stuff but I haven't found much on line about them. He's gone with this to keep it all around the budget I gave him. The subs are rated at 300-500 Watt RMS per woofer. Also, why run monoblock instaed of 2 channel?

Do you guys think I'm good with what hes recommending, or should I consider something else?

Does it fit your budget? Do you plan on possibly upgrading subs in the future? I can't speak on that amp, but do you have to have someone verify it in order to try it? Can you test sample different models and find which fits your idea of what you need?

how much is your budget? and how much are those being priced?

The DD will be a fine amplifier. If you can step up a little in budget the DD M1c is an even finer amplifier.

I told the shop I didn't want to spend more than $3000, so he put together the best components to fit in that price range. It also included the head unit and diamond 6.5 inch components. I don't plan to upgrade the subs at a later date. I've heard them and they sound awesome for 8 inch subs. I would love to have another ARC amp for the subs, but there KS 1200 is much pricier than the DD. I know DD makes awesome subs, but I can't find anything on there ampligier, that's why I was asking. Also, wayback when I was into car audio, monoblocks weren't around so I'm used to just running 2 channel.

That DD is a nice piece and will hold decent resale value when/if you need to upgrade.
