i have to disagree...though i seldom fuse it myself...to be safe ....it does need that fuse...if a break in the hot wire was to happen anywhere on that hot to the other fuse...it would burn like a cannon fuse....without being fusedYou dont need a fuse right before the batt, otherwise it looks good.
I guess you could. I never do myself, always thought it was pointless.i have to disagree...though i seldom fuse it myself...to be safe ....it does need that fuse...if a break in the hot wire was to happen anywhere on that hot to the other fuse...it would burn like a cannon fuse....without being fused
If one of the fuses blows wouldn't the other one also? I still dont understand the point...Thanks, I will go with this and see how it all works out. Btw I agree about the fuse. If one fuse goes the other is going to stop the surge dead in its tracks inches before it hits the bat and melts the whole wire and/car. THanks for the help
Looking at his diagram he has a 100amp fuse up front and a 150amp fuse by the batt. What if the 100 amp ones blows and the one by the batt doesnt. Its still going to feed it.battery in back still is a power source and would still deliver power to the short..that is why you fuse by the battery in back
you have a better screen than me but i was not commenting on the diagram i was commenting on the lack of using the fuseLooking at his diagram he has a 100amp fuse up front and a 150amp fuse by the batt. What if the 100 amp ones blows and the one by the batt doesnt. Its still going to feed it.
