The last pic provides 0 resitance to all amps. Whereas grounding to the frame will yeild some resistance. I always run a negative cable from the battery. Unibody cars don't really have a full frame so they don't have the best ground.
Of the first two, I would be inclined to use the second method. Having the rear battery and the amps all grounded separately is prime recipe for a ground loop. That said, the last pic is the best, assuming lagre gauge wire.
