Is this enough Surface area?

Im building a box for my 12" TC9 and was trying to figure out the aero ports.

The box will be ~2cuft Net. And im planning on tuning it to about 32hz.

The TC Sounds website recommends between 1.5-2.3cuft with 12.5sq in of port area...

So that would be a single 4" aero port correct? Does this sound like enough to you guys? Or am i going to be getting alot of port noise with a single 4" ?

Also becuase of the way the box will sit ontop of some brackets in my truck, the sub will be downfiring. And im wondering if the port should downfire as well, or fire out the side and into the back of my seat... (the box sits about 6" off the floor)

i thaught the rule of thumb was 15 inches for every cube...

but if the manufacturer recommends 12 or whatever, i would do what they say
