Is this enough sound deading

Since I'm getting a new system this time around I'm deading my whole trunk. I was looking at the dynamat extreme kit which has (9) 18''x 32'' sheets. I was going to deaden the trunk lid and side panels on a 2000 Monte Carlo SS and my brother is looking at the same kit for a 2000 323CI. Neither one of us have big trunks at all will that be enough?

That's 5184 square inches of surface area. 36 square feet. Should be enough.

FYI, there are cheaper options. Dynamat extreme is expensive chit.

What are the cheaper options? I don't care which brand it is as long at it works. BTW the kit I was looking at was $120 shipped so if I can get some for less that would be great.
